Potty

Celinda has been using her potty on and off(accidents). This is an image of what potty she has. Comfy!!! I love that she is so comfortable using her potty. She has two but the other one wasn't comfy on the tushy, she will not use it!!! The other one is a "step stool". Well I just wanted to let you know "Potty Training" isn't "horrible". Don't stress!! Celinda started showing signs of wanting to potty a few months ago and is doing "GREAT" she loves her potty song grandma sings and is telling me almost all the time when she has to "go".

Making Homemade Play-Dough

  1. Get all your ingredients together:2 cups of flour, 2 cups of water, 1 cup of salt, food coloring or kool-aid (optional) but makes fun colors , 2 tbsp's oil, 4 tbsp's cream of tartar (this stops the dough from cracking and makes it stretchy). Items used: pot, wooden spoon, whisk, big mixing bowl, measuring cups and spoons.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  3. Add wet ingredients. Mix till smooth and color desired.
  4. Add ingredients slowly to pot and put over medium heat.
  5. Stir constantly until the dough feels like stiff, smooth, mashed potatoes. At this point, take it off the stove. Once it has cooled. Knead it until it is blended smoothly.
  6. Play with your dough and have lots of FUN!!!!
  7. Store the dough in an airtight container, like a Ziploc® bag or Tupperware*.
